Windermere is a non-profit community service provider that operates throughout south-east Victoria to assist the most in need. Since the beginning of our work over 150 years ago we’ve been striving to build an even stronger, more connected and well-supported community.
Our assistance comes in different ways as we work to find the best solutions to the numerous and diverse complex problems that affect families, children and people in our communities.
Our goal is to start early, by offering programs and services that fall within the following areas:
- Family Wellness to bring about positive behaviour modifications, greater understanding, and respond to abuse and/or neglect
- Child Development Education & Support including child care and other services for adults and children who have disabilities and developmental delays
- Assistance and assistance to victims of assault, trauma and/or violent crimes
- Community Strengtheningdesigned to be able to quickly respond to urgent and new requirements.
While we are able to receive funds for certain services from the federal and state governments, other services are funded by donations and sponsors for whom we are extremely grateful.
Our belief is that everyone is a part of our society and it is evident in the way we interact with the people whom we interact with every day.
