Variety Livvi’s Place Edgebrook Playground
A beautiful fully-fenced play area for children of all abilities. The park is split into 4 zones that honor the natural history of Clyde The four zones are Birds In Flight, Lettuce Farm, Amphibian zone, and the Aquatic zone.
The play area has a gentle slope. At the top is a large shelter that houses three tables, barbecues, water taps, a charging points and toilets. The path leads past poles with fish and a forest of poles, inviting hexagonal seats, and a water pump that releases water onto the rock, through a sluice gate , and into the channel.
The next level is a sandpit that is bordered with a rock wall. tiny forest where you’ll see lizard sculptures on logs and a huge yellow mound that has three trampolines in the ground, bumps for climbing and three slides made of metal under shade sails.
Along a path, you will find an area of softfall, with mounds, a carousel that spins and a large pipe to crawl through.
In the middle of the slope lies the most thrilling spot in the playground, it’s the Flight Deck. There are many ways to reach the deck, with a tangled yellow slide is waiting for you – there is a rope net tunnel that can be climbed to or down, a tower that has the alternating half-circle shaped levels you can climb through, or a series of ladders. The area also features small flying foxes with seats, a disk, a bird’s nest swing, a swing with harness seats along with standard swings as well as pipes that you can smash the changers with. Kids can work on their percussion skills as they prepare for their participation in the Clyde Symphonic Orchestra. There are plenty of un-shaded seating areas and a few tiny shelters that have seats. The playground is well maintained.

This accessible play space is created by a collaboration between Stockland and Variety, the Children’s Charity. The Livvi’s Place nationwide network of inclusive playspaces was created to allow us to play together.
