Quality and care are the emblems of a Hillcrest education. Everything centres on having our scholars flourishing; getting people of vibrant faith and strong character, lifelong learners and active citizens.

A leading provider of Christian education in Victoria, Hillcrest Christian College is an independent, interdenominational,co-educational and open- registration academy catering for around 1300 scholars. Hillcrest Primary consists of the Early Literacy Centre and Prep through Year 6 and Hillcrest Secondary Times 7 through 12.
Our well- appointed ultramodern lot is uniquely located on an extensive 138-acre firmament that also accommodates the Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre, an Environmental Centre, and Rivercrest Christian College which follows the International Baccalaureate class. The College features are range of outstanding installations designed to help us deliver innovative literacy programs, including over 2019 and 2020 a new Time 5-6 block, PrimaryMulti-Purpose Centre, STEM Centre and Film & Media Centre.

Whether they’re sharing in our foundation times’ programs or following the numerous literacy pathways at Elderly Secondary, taking to the sports field, learning a musical instrument, or undertaking service to the wider community, every pupil at Hillcrest is challenged to pursue excellence and achieve their particular stylish but, just as importantly, to learn how to work collaboratively. Our literacy programs align with the Puritanical Class and Qualifications Framework.
Our safe, minding and nurturing terrain ensures that all scholars are handed with the occasion to make musketeers, take pitfalls, learn chops, grow in compassion and courage.

Hillcrest Christian College has had a rich history from its commencement. While the educational openings and installations have been amended and enhanced, the core Christian values and commitments remain the same.
Hillcrest began in Nyora in 1981, as a pioneering design in Christian education under the visionary leadership of its authors, Barry and Gwenyth Rodgers. In 2003, the Nyora lot closed down. The current Clyde North point was added in 1996, also known as the Ayr Hill Lot. This new lot began with 98 scholars from Prep to Year 8 and the 138-acre property was ideal for literacy and education, growing to a ultramodern and vibrant ELC to Year 12 lot of 1350 scholars.

2005 saw a new star appointed to grow the College and to engage in a new strategic direction which would insure success for the coming times. Under Dr Pampuch’s direction, the College grew by 100 scholars each time. This growth was matched by the development of a number of significant installations including an Early Literacy Centre for 3 & 4 time pasts, a Discovery Centre ( library resource centre), a Creative Trades Centre, a Performing Trades Theatre, a Multipurpose Centre, fresh Science Laboratories, an Administration Centre, a Food Technology Centre, new classrooms and new playing fields and out-of-door spaces for scholars.
What started out as Hillcrest has now flourished into an entire Crest Education firmament which now includes Rivercrest Christian College, inaugurated in 2014, as well as the Equestrian Trade Training Centre. In addition, we continue to develop an Environmental Centre at the reverse of this 138 acre property furnishing numerous openings for genuine literacy in a living laboratory.
