Berwick Springs Park

Berwick Springs Park

The vast, scenic Berwick Springs Reserve is hidden away from Clyde Road’s congestion. The large estate’s middle is dotted with wetlands. It is a beautiful spot to take a walk or run 5km, or have a picnic at the playground.

Berwick Springs Reserve

You can’t miss it if you go from Berwick Springs Promenade to the western end. It opens up into the central lake through a great archway that is covered in lush greenery. On sunny afternoons, ducks and birds flock to this lake. The benches around the lake are great spots for a picnic.

The water fountain in the middle of the lake turns on during summer, providing cool mist as you pass.

Multiple paths lead to the wetlands, which are all accessible by bike or pram. You can choose to take a short walk with your dog, go for a leisurely stroll or run 5km.

You’ll be surrounded by beautiful still lakes, majestic trees and open grasslands every turn. Berwick Springs Reserve is large enough that you will find a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

It is difficult for kids to walk 5km in the afternoon, but there are 3 playgrounds that will help them burn some energy.

These fully fenced playgrounds can be found at the South, East, and West ends of the reserve. They offer multiple slides, swings, and climbing equipment.

The East playground has a shaded picnic space beside it where you can enjoy a take-out meal and watch the sun set on the lake. The picnic area is located within the fenced area at the South end playground.

This park is great for all ages. The Eden Rise shopping centre, located on the other side of Clyde Road, is a great spot to grab coffees, juices, donuts, and a variety of treats before heading down for a few hours. The Berwick Springs Reserve is a great place to relax, bike off the busy roads or enjoy a leisurely picnic.
